MSGOP Welcomes Eric Cantor Back To Mississippi

The Mississippi Republican Party Welcomes Eric Cantor Back To Mississippi

JACKSON- Tomorrow, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor will be in Gulfport for a reception honoring Rep. Steven Palazzo. Cantor represents a Richmond, Virginia based district in the U.S. House and became Majority Leader after Republicans won control of that chamber in 2010.

“I am grateful to have Majority Leader Cantor visit the Fourth District,” remarked Rep. Palazzo. “It’s been a privilege working with him in House leadership this year to consistently promote conservative, pro-growth legislation in the face of the failed, liberal policies of the Obama administration.”

Joe Nosef, Chairman of the Mississippi Republican Party added, “It is always great to see leaders from Washington come to Mississippi, and it is a real honor to have the Majority Leader in Gulfport with Rep. Palazzo. Eric Cantor is a leading figure in D.C., and he is one of the best at articulating the conservative vision needed to move our country in the right direction.”

This will be Cantor’s second trip to Mississippi in as many years. In 2010, he campaigned with then-candidate Alan Nunnelee in Tupelo.

Cantor will join Palazzo for a reception at the Gulfport Yacht Club on Saturday night from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and a limited number will be available at the door. For more information, visit http://palazzoforcongress.com/cantor/or call 601-613-8518.
