Young Republican Spotlight – Jamey Logan

Today’s Young Republican Is Tomorrow’s Community Leader!

Jamison Logan – Nettleton, Mississippi

Jamison studied Communications with a Public Relations emphasis at Mississippi State University, where he graduated Cum Laude in the Spring of 2013. Last summer, he interned for U.S. Senator Roger Wicker in his press office in Washington, D.C. While serving in Washington, Jamison experienced several political debates, engaged in day-to-day transactions and transitions that occur in a political office atmosphere, as well as promoted Mississippi with every opportunity given. While on campus, Jamison participated in various activities such as PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America), PRAM (Public Relations Association of Mississippi), Mortar Board, and the Leadership Team for the Wesley Foundation. Currently, he is working at BancorpSouth in Tupelo, MS in Corporate Marketing as their Digital Content Manager. He also volunteers with the United Way of Northeast Mississippi and is a member of the Tupelo Young Professionals.

When asked why he considers himself a Republican, Jamison advised, “Growing up, the meaning of a hard day’s work meant everything to both my parents and grandparents. Something that I came to realize and adopt is this: a hard work ethic, coupled with a moral code that is second-to-none, a strong value placed on family, and a helpful eye for all my Mississippi neighbors is a stance I will never turn away from.”
